setting for your mountain get-away. You can easily hike to Lone
Pine Creek for a family picnic, reading or just relaxing and breathing
the fresh mountain air. Closer to the cabin, plan to settle into
rock outcroppings and enjoy the sounds of nature around you or curl up
on the covered deck in the hope of spotting local wildlife. If you'd
like a different activity, try the horseshoe pit behind the house and
hone your pitching skills.
You will appreciate the rustic atmosphere of the interior of this home. The hand-made log furniture enhances the cabin's décor and provides a cozy, comfortable atmosphere in which to spend your evenings. Cuddle up in front of the propane stove for additional warmth or enjoy your favorite television show on the satellite TV. If music is more to your liking, a stereo, CD player and cassette player are available for your listening pleasure. Plan to prepare your meals in the modern well-equipped kitchen or use the outdoor electric grill for those juicy steaks. The picture windows in the dining area bring the outdoors inside as you feast on the chef's creations. After a day in the mountains, a restful night's sleep awaits you in one of the two comfortable bedrooms, each with its private bath. Before tucking yourself in, be sure to take advantage of an unobstructed mountain sky to view the stars. On a clear night, you may "catch a falling star," identify your favorite constellation or view the glorious Milky Way. A vacation spent at Whispering Pines is sure to make magnificent life-long memories. Bring your camera and capture those special moments in the mountains.
