We had one of the best vacations this week!  We loved this cozy cabin and our kids had a BLAST in the loft.  We saw 2 moose and numerous deer and spent 3 days fishing Lake Dowdy and West Lake.  On our last full day here we spotted the most beautiful rainbow we had ever seen!  We were amazed at all the bright color!  What a way to end our vacation!  Colorado will always have a special place deep in our Texas heart.

What a lovely serene area.  The cabin's simple warm atmosphere only enhances the surrounding beauty.  We fished all day yesterday on the warm fall day - even saw moose tracks in the remaining tufts of snow!  We hope to return and enjoy the mountains and streams again and again - Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven.
