Highland Hideaway is a cedar-sided, contemporary
home located in a secluded forest setting with year-round access.
The relaxing sound of flowing water from the
North Fork
Cache la Poudre
River
can be enjoyed from the large deck that overlooks the peaceful, wooded
surroundings. This quiet
solitude offers ample opportunity to view the local wildlife which
include moose, deer, elk, bobcats, hawks and eagles.
The mountain air is clean and the fresh smell of pine welcomes
you to the forest.
The interior of the home is as welcoming as the exterior.
With hardwood floors, large windows, cathedral ceilings and the
warm comfort of an electric stove reminiscent of the old
Franklin
stoves, time spent inside the hideaway is as inviting as time spent
outdoors. A modern, fully
equipped kitchen including dishes, flatware, utensils, pots and pans
will accommodate all your culinary needs. A stackable washer and dryer
in the kitchen area allow you to do laundry if you have the luxury of
a longer stay. You can enjoy your meals in the dining area or dine at
the picnic table on the deck. When
it comes time to say goodnight, three private bedrooms, all with queen
size beds, await your dreams. One
of the bedrooms opens to a balcony that allows you to stargaze before
you crawl into the cozy comfort of your own bed.
Because Highland Hideaway is available all year, you can appreciate
every season in the mountains. Whether it’s to see the snow covered
peaks, the changing aspens, the cool summer breezes or the spring
wildflowers, any time of year is a time to be here.
