Crystal Lakes
GENERAL: All anglers are required to VISIBLY WEAR their Crystal Lakes guest fishing pass. You must obtain a guest fishing pass at the Association’s office, located just inside the Crystal Lakes entrance on Tami Road. A Colorado Fishing License is not required to fish in any lake or pond on Crystal Lakes property, but is required to fish the streams. Children under the age of 15 are not required to have a Colorado Fishing License.
A) All guests, adults and children, must have a guest pass before fishing. B) Each membership unit (property) is allowed up to ten (10) guest anglers on any given day. C) Rates for daily guest passes are as follows: Adult guests 16 years of age and older: $30.00 per day; Youth guests 7-15 years of age $15.00 per day; Child guests age 6 and under: *Free with member or paid adult guest. D) UNACCOMPANIED DAILY GUESTS: Any guest who is using a daily pass must either be accompanied by a member in good standing or have a signed letter of authorization, in their possession at all times. GEAR: 1) No fish may be taken except in the ordinary manner with one (1) rod and a maximum of two (2) hooks. 2) The only allowable live bait are worms, grasshoppers, and leaches. No other live bait of any type, including live minnows, may be used. There is to be no bait fishing of any type in Sportsman catch-and-release areas. DAILY BAG LIMIT: Three (3) fish per day. 1) Children ages 6 and under who are fishing with a free child guest pass apply all fish to the accompanying member or paid adult guest's limit. 2) Fish caught and placed on a stringer, in a container or live well, or not returned to the water immediately are counted in the daily bag limit. 3) Do not continue to fish after you have bagged your limit. POSSESSION LIMIT: Six (6) fish in storage per paid daily guest. SPORTSMAN, CATCH-AND-RELEASE AREAS: All fish caught in sportsman areas must be immediately released. Barbless hooks are recommended. Any fish in an angler's possession in sportsman area waters will be considered to have been caught in that area. The fine for this violation is $150 plus $25 for each fish in possession. Sportsman areas are: 1) All streams within the Crystal Lakes boundaries: Single hook, artificial flies and lures. 2) Cutthroat Pond at Beaver Park on Tiny Bob Road: Flies only. BOATING 1) All boats must be registered with the CLR&R office and display a Crystal Lakes sticker. 2) Boats and float tubes are allowed on Crystal Lake only. 3) Boats must have one life jacket on board for each occupant. 4) No gasoline motors may be used. GAS motors must be removed from the boat and the boat cleaned of any fuel products before launching. Only electric trolling motors may be used. 5) Boats may be launched by hand from any point on the lake. The only places a vehicle may launch a boat are at the West End of the lake by the boathouse, and at Lakeview Park on the Northeast end. 6) When not in use, all boats must be stored in the boat storage facilities provided at either end of the lake or on individual owners' properties. Use of the boat storage facilities will require the payment of a boat storage fee to the CLW&S Association. 7) Boating courtesy and attention to safety are expected in order to minimize disturbance of those fishing from the shore or near the shore in waders, belly boats, etc. ICE FISHING: 1) No vehicle of any type is allowed on the ice. 2) All ice fishing shelters and equipment must be put in place by hand. 3) All ice fishing shelters and equipment must be removed from lakes when not in use. SECURITY AND VIOLATIONS: RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY: Members are responsible and financially liable for all actions of their guests. All violations by a member and all violations of the Crystal Lakes fishing regulations by a guest angler will be considered as violations by the member. If a guest commits a violation, the member will receive the violation citation. All violations of fishing regulations by minors will be considered violations by parents or the responsible adult. FISHING SECURITY: 1) The Crystal Lakes Fishing Board will monitor the fishing program and enforce the fishing regulations. 2) Abuse of or failure to cooperate with a security person is a regulation violation. 3) Fishing Board members, fishing security persons, and Crystal Lakes security have the authority to confiscate fishing permits and guest passes from violators, make creel checks, confiscate fish as evidence, and issue fishing citations. VIOLATIONS: 1) Crystal Lakes fishing violations are subject to procedures set by the CLRRA Board and decisions of the CLRRA Hearing Panel. 2) In addition to Crystal Lakes actions, violations may result in prosecution as allowed by Colorado State Law and/or the Colorado Division of Wildlife. 3) Membership fishing privileges will be revoked for one year after the date of the second violation. 4) Fines: *Violation of Sportsman Area policies: $150 *Possession of creeled fish in a Sportsman, catch-and-release area: $150 *Fishing after loss of privileges: $150 *Member fishing without current dues: $100 *Unauthorized use of membership badge: $150 *Guest without valid permit: $150 *Use of more than one rod while fishing: $50 *Continued fishing after daily limit is creeled (including fish given away): $50 *Cost per fish if over the limit: (For EACH fish in possession) $25 *Use of boat or float tube on any water other than Crystal Lake: $50 *Possessing a gas powered motor on a boat while in Crystal Lake: $50 *Member without badge in possession: $25 *In addition to above penalties, the fine per fish in possession: $25 |

Red Feather Lakes GENERAL: The following private lakes are part of the Red Feather Storage and Irrigation Company:
If you are renting a home in Red Feather Lakes and the owner has purchased a fishing membership, you may be eligible to fish the private lakes as a guest. The daily fishing permit fees are:
You must purchase your guest pass in advance from the Lone Pine Realty Vacation Rental Office. You do not have to have a Colorado Fishing License to fish in the private lakes.
Fishermen are required to maintain their catch in their possession at each lake. Injured fish may NOT be thrown back into the lake. Due to the cost and purpose of stocking Grass Carp, do not keep or harm these fish. If caught, carp must be returned to the water immediately using the utmost care. All other fish caught with bait must be kept. Tiger Muskies must be kept regardless of how they are caught. Please notify the RFSI office or a patrolman when a Tiger Muskie is caught. When transporting fish, guests are subject to Colorado Division of Wildlife possession limits of no more than eight fish in storage per angler.

Area Public Lakes
The public lakes in the immediate Red Feather Lakes area are:
Please note there are many private lakes for member use only surrounding Red Feather Lakes and within the Crystal Lakes Subdivision boundaries. All private lakes are patrolled regularly. In order to fish the public lakes, rivers and streams adults MUST have a valid Colorado fishing license. You may purchase a 1 day, 5 day or annual (resident or non-resident) license locally at the general stores in the Red Feather Village. Children under the age of 16 do not need a fishing license and can take a full bag and possession limit.

rivers are catch and release only, so you need to be familiar with the specific
