| Alpine Hideaway is an older mountain cabin with warm décor
and wonderful accents. On those
special mountain days when the outdoors beckons, walk to the edge of the
property and enjoy a stroll into the Roosevelt National Forest. If you prefer, climb the short
path to the sitting area built among rock outcroppings and offering spectacular
views of mountains that seem to go on forever. This special space will evoke whatever creativity lies within you. With your favorite beverage by your side, paint, sketch, write poetry or
photograph what stirs your soul. As the evening chill descends, step inside and light a warm and inviting fire in the living room before preparing your evening meal in the nearby kitchen. Small, but definitely adequate and convenient, the kitchen hosts an eating area where you can chat with family and friends as you cook. The grill on the deck may be tempting as an easier way to prepare the meal, enjoying the quiet while resting on the built-in bench. The downstairs bedroom and bath offer all that is needed for a restful night’s sleep, but, if you want true pampering, climb the stairs to the upper bath and relax in the luxury of the large oval jetted tub before climbing into the comfortable bed that awaits you. Perhaps before retiring you’ll enjoy the mountain sky with its bounty of stars, the Milky Way, several constellations and an occasional shooting star or meteor shower. For mountain solitude and scenery, Alpine Hideaway is the place to be. NOTE: Daily fishing passes (required) for the private lakes in the Red Feather Lakes area can be purchased at the Lone Pine Realty office. Details: 2 bedroom, 2 baths – one with oversized oval jetted tub, sleeps 6 (2 queen beds, 1 double sofa sleeper), living room with wood burning stove, kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, eating area, washer, dryer, TV/DVD/VHS, DirecTV satellite, local phone, deck, gas grill.
