With multiple decks, Mountain Vista offers excellent views of Crystal Lake, “Jacque’s Rock” and the gorgeous mountain scenery.  Nearby hiking trails, lakes and streams, offer opportunities to enjoy adventures in pristine surroundings and fresh mountain air.

Get close to nature and enjoy the outdoors where you may meet some of the local neighbors-moose, deer, elk, bobcats, coyotes, hawks, eagles, chipmunks, rabbits and their friends.

If you find yourself too tired to cook after a wonderful outdoor adventure, no problem.  Restaurants are available at Crystal Lakes Basecamp (Fri-Sun) or Beaver Meadows Resort located nearby.  If you have prepared a wonderful menu, the kitchen is fully stocked with all you should need for your perfect meal.  Want to continue your outdoor adventure?  Enjoy the large deck and patio furniture while you smell the amazing aromas of your meal as it cooks on the outdoor grill.

Should the evening be a little brisk, bring the party indoors and find comfort in front of the pellet stove while you visit with friends and family.  If you are up for some competition, visit the game room downstairs and challenge anyone who dares to a game of cards, or gather around the TV to watch your favorite DVD/VHS movie while the wood stove provides warmth.

When you are ready to retire, find comfort in a bed with fresh linens.  Mountain Vista has 4 bedrooms and with that many bedrooms, you may just have a bed all to yourself.

NOTE: Daily fishing passes (required) can be purchased at the Crystal Lakes office.  To fish the North Fork Cache la Poudre River, a Colorado fishing license is also required.  All moving water fishing is catch and release.” 

Cabin Details: Sleeps 10, (1 king, 1 queen, 2 sets of twin bunk beds and sofa sleeper in the downstairs recreation room).  Amenities include, wood pellet stove in living room, microwave, full-size washer/dryer, TV/ DVD/VHS, card table and wood burning stove, in lower level recreation room, large wrap-around deck with outdoor furniture and a gas grill.
