Lazy A - 7

One of our most popular rentals is returning! Much of Lazy A-7 has been remodeled and updated as the photos show. Come see for yourselves and enjoy this classic mountain retreat. This year-round, secluded mountain log home offers spectacular views from a large wrap-around deck. The scent of the surrounding pines and pristine mountain air will invite you to spend time outdoors, searching the hillside for the abundant wildlife that inhabits the surrounds. Moose sightings are frequent, along with elk, deer, coyotes, bobcats, rabbits, ground squirrels and chipmunks. The numerous rock outcroppings around the house are home to many forest creatures. Don’t forget to look to the clear skies—eagles and hawks are commonly spotted coming and going from the many nearby lakes. If you like to play outdoors, a game of horseshoes may fit the bill. Venture inside to the comfortably furnished interior and plan to enjoy all this spacious home has to offer. The large fully equipped kitchen with its new oak floor, new refrigerator and new dishwasher will delight your culinary skills. The open floor plan allows the cook to be a part of what’s happening in the adjoining living area, whether it’s discussing the big fish that got away or watching one of the many satellite channels on the new flat screen TV. If you prefer, everyone can gather on the deck to grill the big ones that didn’t get away! The stairway and the lower level have new carpeting. The game room has a full size pool table, a pine bar with wet sink and a snack bar. The adjoining room has a game table and a seating area. All in all, the lower level of Lazy A-7 has something for everyone. After an evening of fun and games and before sleep, be sure to return to the deck to marvel at the splendor of the nighttime sky. Without city or street lights, the stars are aglow and the Milky Way is often visible. Listen carefully for the hoot of an owl or the distant howl of a coyote. Once the “goodnights” are shared, you can retire to one of the four bedrooms for a sound slumber. Early risers may be treated to a fiery mountain sunrise reflecting brilliantly off the surrounding slopes. What better way to start your day? A newly expanded flagstone patio with lawn furniture adds to Lazy A-7’s possibilities for entertaining. The home is an ideal location for a wedding rehearsal dinner, a brunch the day after a wedding, a family reunion, a corporate retreat or annual picnic, or a retreat weekend for members of a church group. |
