Big Rock Lodge

With an expansive view of the surrounding area, Big Rock Lodge is master of all it surveys.  Mountain views and beautiful skies in front of the cabin, and the sound of the water in the seasonal stream just below, are in sharp contrast to the massive rock outcroppings behind it.  Seclusion is guaranteed on the 2.75 acres that surround Big Rock Lodge.

Once inside the cabin, you’ll find yourself in a large living - dining area where leather furniture affords luxurious comfort as you relax before a roaring fire in the wood burning stove.  Curl up with a book or doze off as the warmth encircles you.  A TV, stereo, CD, DVD & VHS can provide the background sound you prefer.

Perhaps you’ll prefer to spread out a game on the wrought iron table in the sunroom or simply relax while taking in the views on three sides of the room, and enjoy the natural warmth of that cozy nook.  For the sports fans among you, the downstairs family room houses a TV, comfortable furnishings and a relaxing “away from it all” space.

When meal time approaches, the well equipped kitchen with its wood grain cabinets houses all you need to prepare an easy meal or a gourmet feast.  Depending on the weather and your mood, the dining area, the sunroom and the deck with its picnic table and propane grill are all options for enjoying your meal.

Three bedrooms await as your day comes to a close.  The spacious master on the main floor has a queen bed and full bath.  On the lower level there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a queen bed and bunk beds with a double on bottom and a single on top.  Be sure to take in the mountain sky and its myriad of stars, planets and the Milky Way before retiring in the stillness of our beautiful area.
